Submission deadline for symposium proposals is 1. November 2018. A symposium should focus on a common theme chosen by a group of presenters, and can include participants from different settings. We especially encourage submission of symposium proposals with presenters from different countries.

Proposals with a short joint description (max 500 words) must be submitted together with names and e-mail addresses of all presenters by email to (Please note that this email cannot be used for abstract submissions, only symposium proposals)

The organization committee will respond to themed symposium proposals no later than 8. November 2018. If accepted, presenters are required to submit their respective abstracts no later than 3. December 2018 postponed to 12. December 2018.

Submissions must be done through the online submission link and contain:

Title of the abstract has a max. of 20 words and a max. of 3 keywords. Abstract text of no more than 500 words, containing the following information: Introduction to the research question(s), description of methods, results, brief discussion and implications. Conceptual (ex. poster presentation) and theoretical papers do not need to follow this structure. A reference list is not required for the submission.

In the case of multiple-authored papers, more than one person may present, but multiple presenters must divide the total time available to them.

Viewing posters will run during the conference, but poster presenters will be required to participate in discussions with the audience at the time(s) mentioned in the conference program.

Please observe:

  • The number of submissions is limited to two per presenter.
  • Abstract submissions sent by e-mail will not be evaluated.

Proposal reviewing

The Danish conference organization committee and NNDR volunteer reviewers will review proposals. You will be notified of the outcome of your proposal no later than 16. January 2019.
